Scoliosis: Jack, at this age, unfortunately the bones cannot be molded and the spine would retain its shape. However, you can halt the process by maintaining proper posture while standing and sitting. Swimming will help significantly as there is no gravitational effect while you are at least neck deep in water. Just walking in water that deep will benefit you a lot. Avoid prolonged sitting or slouching

Core: It is somewhat controversial, but in general it is not felt that there are any exercises that help scoliosis. That being said, it is generally good to keep your core strong.
