A member asked:

What to use for throat pain from too much neosynephrine (phenylephrine)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Give it a few hours: It should get better within a few hours. Chloraseptic spray or warm salt water may help. Then, use common sense and dont use the med anymore. In fact over-the-counter nasal sprays are only safe to use for 3-4 days.. If you use longer, you can make symptoms worse and get addicted to the spray. If you have persistent symptoms of nasal congestion or sore throat --see your doctor.
