Aspirin bruising: Aspirin, also known as acetyl salicylic acid, affects the platelets and as a result the skin can bruise very easily. Sometimes even scratching or rubbing the skin can leave bruises after taking aspirin. Most likely there was some pressure on the skin, which left some small bruises. We sometimes refer to these small bruises as petechiae. They should heal in 1-2wks, if they persist, see a doctor.

Likely from aspirin: Occasional bruising on the lower extremities is not unusual even if you don't remember banging into an object. Aspirin can interfere with normal platelet function(tiny circulating cells in blood that help your blood to clot if you cut yourself). Some patients will notice easy bruising after using aspirin. This is not unusual. For easy bruising in areas other than legs see your physician

Yes: the aspirin will not let the body clot normally. So the bruises are from taking the medicine. Stop the aspirin and all should go back to normal in time

Could be: Aspirin will interfere with platelet functioning and thereby inhibit clotting. This could lead to easy bruising from even mild trauma.
