Primary or secondary: Earliest sign of primary syphilis is so called chancre, one or more painless hard sores appear after a week & up to 3 months. Last 3 - 6 weeks and heal. Secondary, untreated syphilis, can occur as primary is healing or some weeks later usually with a rash without itching, on one or more parts of body. Secondary can be associated with fever, sore throat, swollen glands, malaise & aches. Treat asap.
