Yeast infection: Antibiotics can predispose to secondary yeast infections by changing the normal bacteria that inhabit your gut and other areas of the body. Any inflammatory process that may alter your physiological balance may make you miss a menstrual period, and that could include a yeast infection or the emotional trauma accompanying it and your UTI.
