Alternative solution: If I understand you need a hysterectomy (hopefully minimally invasive so quick, less painful recovery). I would infer your doctor is trying to buy some time with the provera (medroxyprogesterone) that's not working. Contact your doctor and see if they want to do a withdrawal bleed? Also see if your blood count suggests anemia? Is there a possibility of having an endometrial ablation?
