Risks with NSAIDS: Daily use of ibuprofen, an NSAID ( non steroidal anti inflammatory drug) ca increase risk for heart attack, stroke, kidney injury, ulcers and gastrointestinal bleeding. With these safety concerns, use of NSAIDS is best limited to lowest dose and shortest duration possible

Should be okay: Be sure to take it with food and watch out for signs of a developing ulcer (stomach pain, nausea, increased heart burn). Even low dose ibuprofen taken daily can lead to ulcers or gastritis.

Maybe not: Ibuprofen taken every day can cause problems with your blood pressure, kidneys and stomach. If you are having pain, get in for an evaluation to see what else can be done to help the pain. Be careful.
