Can be hard to tell: Emergency contraception pills are hormones and alter a woman's periods for that month and the month after. One can take a pregnancy test (follow the instructions on the package) about 3 weeks after sex. If still worried, and if the next period doesn't look or seem normal, one can repeat a pregnancy test.
