You are constipated: Constipation is common in pregnancy & often exacerbated by hormonal changes, increased vitamins, iron, etc. Not drinking enough water definitely makes this problem worst. If you are experiencing constipation you should increase fluids & consider an over the counter stool softener like Colace. If that doesn't resolve the problem, occasional use of a laxative like Miralax (polyethylene glycol) may be Ok
