Perhaps..: Ruq (right upper quadrant) has multiple causes: gall bladder disease, gas pocket in the bowel (hepatic flexure syndrome, hepatic means related to the liver). Inflammation in stomach from alcohol (gastritis), inflammed pancreas (pancreatitis, more serious), etc. As a general rule, if you think something is causing a problem, stop it and & c if it goes away. (by the way, liver has no pain fibers).
