If you have a ton of allergies and a deviated septum would that cause a persistant sore throat?

Possibly: Sore throat has multiple causes. Post nasal drip from allergies or sinusitis often causes throat irritation. A deviated septum can also affect airflow causing nasal irritation and drainage. The trifecta of nasal steroid spray, antihistamine and saline irrigations may help. Of note, one side effect of nasal steroid is sore throat however. See your physician with persistent symptoms. Good luck

Deviated septum: A deviated septum is not an uncommon problem. It can lead to nasal obstruction, snoring and even sinus issues. You only need surgery if you are having symptoms. If there are symptoms like nasal obstruction, snoring or recurrent sinusitis, have your nose evaluated by a board certified otolaryngologist.
