Heavy menstrual: bleeding . Most probably from hormonal imbalance from the dysfunction of the ovaries. Other possibilties would be adenomyosis,uterine polyps, PID . Contact to your Gynecologist by phone and if you can not get a hold of then have someone to take you to an Urgent Care or an Emergency room if bleeding persist.

Fibroid: Excessive bleeding from the non pregnant uterus,without any form of injury or hematologic abnormality is usually due to fibroid. Other causes are hormonal. If this continues or you develop symptoms such as dizziness /weakness,please see your OB. If you suspect you may be pregnant,you need to be seen by a doctor immediately. Good luck
