Dermatologist: A dermatologist is your best bet. The underlying cause can be evaluated by your physician to prevent recurrence. Topical and oral medications are often used in the treatment of moderate to severe acne

Acne: Start with an over the counter acne wash and a topical acne medication. Do not pick or squeeze them as this will make it worse and may lead to scarring .

See a dermatologist: Most adult women with acne respond best to the antiandrogen pill SPIRONOLACTONE. It is a safe and inexpensive prescription. Do not use if pregnant or in kidney failure. Squeezing zits does not cause scars nor does it aggravate acne. We all do it.
