Pregnancy: Your period may be early, which is not uncommon. If you had unprotected sex and miss a period, take a pregnancy test to determine if you are pregnant. If a qualitative HCG test is positive and you continue to have spotting and/or cramping, you may be at risk for a miscarriage so get a quantitative HCG and see your doctor.
