Index pain: About extemity pain, we always need to know if the whole extremity [hand, wrist, finger, leg...], or if only one face of it hurts [palmar side or backside], is there swelling with pain? Other fingers not mentioned mean they are not painful? Palmar side and dorsal side are innervated by different nerves. Pain from nerve problem can occur at night, not always. We need more data...
