Be smart: If you are taking your oral contraceptive as directed then it is unlikely that you are pregnant (the pill is 98% effective). If you aren't COMPLETELY compliant then your risk is significantly higher. That being said, the pill doesn't protect from STDs so it is still highly recommended that you continue to use condoms to help prevent sexually transmitted diseases.
