Time for testing: After 12 months of unprotected sex a young couple should be seen by an obgyn or infertility specialist. Your partner needs a semen analysis to make sure his sperm is normal. You will have ovulation testing and an Xray to see if your tubes are open

Russian roulette: Is russian roulette safe? By having unprotected sex, i assume with lots of men, you are exposing yourself to sexually transmitted diseases, harm to your mental health, risk of pregnancy and exploitation. If you must have sex, at a minimum use barrier protections consistently. Talk to a counselor to see why you may be engaging in a self destructive behavior.

Pregnancy: Highest risk of pregnancy would be from days 12-16 of the cycle. Chances are much less in other portions of the cycle. Download glow app. This can tell you the times to avoid to decrease pregnancy. Also when you want to get pregnant you can also have intercourse during this window.

If : If you have been having unprotected sex for years, and are not successful at becoming pregnant, then you do fall under the catergory of infertile. Now, if you have the same partner, you have to remember your partner may be the cause. One out of three cases of infertility involves the man. If the male partner is the cause there are many explanations.
Some common causes of male infertility are:
age
sperm issues (count, production)
lifestyle issues(drugs, obesity, marijuana abuse)
cancer and effects of treatment
on the other hand, causes of female infertily include but are not limited to:
fallopian tube damage or blockage, usually caused by untreated chlamydia infection
endometriosis
ovulation disorders
medications
elevated prolactin hormone
polycystic ovary syndrome (pcos)
early menopause
medications
thyroid problems
certain cancers
as you see the list is very long. You and your partner will need a complete infertility work up, either by your gynecologist or an infertility specialist. Hopefully the cause of your infertility is identified and an appropriate treatment regimen can be initiated, with the goal being a successful pregnancy.
Good luck!

Odd question: Any birth control method other than total abstinence has a failure rate at some degree. It would vary with the type of BC and how well the recommended procedures are followed. Some are more foolproof than others. If you have a question about a particular form of BC please start over & ask. Your posts on this site are not linked, so each must have all relevant info.
