i have a sharp, jabbing pain on outer cartridge of my left ear but nothing else; no earache,liquid,redness,swelling. the jab of pain comes n goes?

Ear pain: The ear cartilage can get sensitive from pressure on it, if you are a side sleeper and lay on the affected ear. There may be a a lesion or ulcer, like a pressure sore, that contributes to discomfort. See an ENT doctor to check it out,
