Doubtful: By the time your period is due a pregnancy test would be positive if you have conceived. There can be a few days variation in the timing of the cycle - that probably explains why your period is 2 days late - and the spotting you see is probably your period starting..

Pregnancy: Yes, it is possible, wait a wk if no period check another pregnancy test with first morning urine.

Probably not: If you are having some bleeding around the time your period is due and a negative pregnancy test then it's unlikely. But to be on the safe side, wait another couple days and re-do the HPT. Good luck!
