Try this...: Try drinking room temperature water, and sip it slowly. Cold liquids may cause some tightening of the esophagus that prevents swallowing. If you don't have pain or problems with swallowing other liquids or solids, and you are not losing weight, this is probably not a worrisome problem. Try changing the way you drink water and see if that helps. If not, talk to your doctor.
