Diet again: I suspect that this is high calorie malnutrition, i.e. Too many calories (particularly sweets, pop, caffeine etc) and insufficient vitamin content. It puts stress on vitamin b1 metabolism and it results in emotional irritability, often associated with violence. I have suggested that this is a major cause of the school shootings. Nobody has looked at diet mayhem and it needs doing.

DIET: My experience is this: empty calories induce oxidative dysfuncion in the part of the brain that generates our emotional responses. Emotions are too easily iniitiated and are severely exaggerated, even to the point of violence. I have suggested publicly that "junk" diet may even be responsible for the school shootings. I thnk that high calorie malnutrition is very dangerous. So--check his diet!
