Vaginitis: It could be a vaginal yeast infection, especially if the itching is more outside and the discharge is thick or chunky like cottage cheese. You can try an over the counter yeast treatment like Monistat or gynelotrimin (clotrimazole). If it doesn't resolve then see a gynecologist.
