Was on bc for hair loss, worked great, hair went back normal. added spironolactone, few months later shedding increased. spiro the cause?

No: If anything, spironolactone should help. Probably the pill got your hair growing again mostly at the same time. All hair follicles go through a cycle where they grow, stabilize, then fall out to start over again. Now they are falling out together but they will come back.

Birth control: Birth control pills like pregnancy get all of your hair follicles at the same phase of the growth cycle at the same time. That means they all grow together and then all she'd together making it look like your hair is growing and then falling out. The spironelactone may have exacerbated the problem . It is used for hirsutism.
