Dietary Changes: Child's age unknown which makes it difficult to be specific. Constipation occurs from inadequate dietary fiber & water, also toddlers & children delay defecation (too busy playing etc.). For age 2 yrs & older should increase fresh fruit/vegetables, beans, whole grains. Daily fiber intake = child's age in yrs plus 5 gms/day. Offer minimum 32 oz water daily. See your doctor if child under age 2 yrs.
