Yes: While some sail through periods without much thought, others suffer with abdominal cramps (dysmenorrhea), excessive bleeding (menorrhagia), moodiness, etc.All these are due to hormonal changes during this period. Healthy diet and regular exercise avoiding caffeine alcohol and sweets and stress reduction exercises will help alleviate some of your symptoms. Consult your doctor on calcium supplements
