Still going strong: Check your breast for any sign of yeast infection to cause itching around nipples, or mastitis with which you may have redness or tenderness also. Since after stopping breast feeding, your internal clock still needs a little time to send the signal to stop producing milk, you can expect to feel unease for a while.
