Likely: Some women will get cramps a day before their period starts. If this pain is relieved with Ibuprofen and is not getting much worse and if it is pain that you have had before, you can observe and see what happens tomorrow when your period comes. If the pain is associated with nausea, vomiting and or fever and is escalating, please see a doctor ASAP.

Normal Cramping?: Since your ovary(ies) have already released their egg(s) for the month,I'm not sure it's your ovary that's causing the pain but it could simply just be regular menstrual cramping that happen to be occurring on the left side. Many women do experience some cramping right before they actually start bleeding, which is perfectly normal.Could try some ibuprofen or naproxen to help with the pain/cramping
