A member asked:

For the past year i have had an increase in my lymphocytes absolute lab report and it is now 3.79. what could this mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, your count is elevated but not too high. Increasing count is a cause for concern and you should follow your doctor's advice for follow-up visits. for info http://www.mayoclinic.org/symptoms/lymphocytosis/basics/definition/sym-20050
