Symptoms of CTS: CTS, or carpal tunnel syndrome, often causes numbness and tingling in the finger tips, especially in the thumb, forefinger and middle finger. Symptoms may be worse after sleeping or while driving. The best way to determine carpal tunnel syndrome is an EMG test of the arm. An effective way to treat most cases of this is with a carpal tunnel wrist splint, worn during sleep.
