Adequate sleep,: a healthy diet and appropriate exercise. Am not sure why "pregnancy" showed up on the topic tags. However, if you are pregnant, even more reason to avoid any kind of stimulant, including caffeine. A modest amount of caffeine is not harmful, but larger doses - like people using 5 hour energy four times a day - is NOT healthy. If you are having problems with alertness/concentration, see your doctor
