i am having left sided ear, throat and head pain. afebrile. not relieved with nsaids. thoughts?

Viral infection: The ear discomfort may be referred pain from a viral throat infection and headache associated with the viral respiratory tract infection. If symptoms worsen or if the pain localizes to the ear after the throat improves, see your physician for evaluation. Meanwhile,gargle with salt water take Tylenol (acetaminophen) for relief.
