A member asked:

Is it true that pork can cause a person to have tiny worms in the head?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Tapeworm: An intestinal infection from Taenia solium can occur due to the consumption of undercooked pork. Most often, the worms stay in muscles and do not cause symptoms. Symptoms that do occur depend on where the infection is found (brain, eyes, heart, spine). http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/001391.htm , http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/000627.htm
