No: Hi. No, CMP and CBC do not test for vit B12. If the B12 deficiency exists and is severe enough, the CBC can show a characteristic anemia in which red blood cell size is larger than normal. B12 deficiency can also cause damage to nerves. Usually vit D and vit B12 deficiencies are not related (although they can be). Easy to test for vit B12. Good luck!
