Diarrhea: It is very common when having diarrhea to have a burning sensation at the rectum. The tissue at the rectum is very sensitive and due to the rapid transit of stool with diarrhea it is very acidic, thus the burning sensation. It is not due to H. pylori which causes ulcers, but to HCL or Hydrochloric acid from the stomach.

Raw area: Raw area at your rectum can give that sensation. If you have loose stool from infectious process....it will dissapear with diarrhoea.........it is actually called dysentry. Other causes are acidic stomach content passing through rectum will.......take some peptobismol, will help.
