Antibiotics: In general antibiotics cause diarrhea with gas and can make you nauseous. If you are taking a pain killer with your antibiotic, constipation can occur. Long term use of antibiotics can so disrupt the intestinal flora that constipation could occur

Gas & Diarrhea: Antibiotics can generally cause gas and diarrhea by altering the normal colonic flora of bacteria. You can reduce this potentially by using probiotics concurrently with your antibiotic. If you're getting terrible symptoms and nausesa, you might want to get another antibiotic.
