Swallowed object: If there is no reason to believe your child may have aspirated this object into the lungs and the object is smooth there should not be a problem. Watch for any difficultly swallowing food or water. Once it passes the esophagus it should pass out with the stool in a couple of days. Glass will not show up on an x-ray. If coughing or wheezing take him/her to the ER.
