Maybe, but,..: Confer with your family member's doctor about the possibility that in addition to anxiety and possibly a mild form of Asperger's, he also has epilepsy. (It's just a thought.)

Possibly: Psychosis entails detachment from reality via auditory or visual hallucinations, delusions, disorganized, thinking, and bizarre behaviors.Any combination thereof or one at a time.If the changes are new, the best first step would be a rule out medical causes (hormone/metab causes, meds) then a neurological consult (brain imaging). If very slow evolution, a psychiatric referral early along better.
