Period a week late, negative preg test. got period next day, lots of terrible cramps and moderate bleeding for 5 days. now i feel weird twitching???

Vaginal bleeding: Anovulatory bleeding can occur in any cycle for anyone. The most likely reason for bleeding as you described with a negative pregnancy test is bleeding that occurs in a cycle that you did not ovulate. Hence, the late start and increased cramping. The 'twitching' is two true, and unrelated.
