Anal irritation: Anal itching is often caused or made worse by too vigorous wiping. After a bowel movement, wipe a couple of times with toilet paper and then finish cleaning with a cream like balneol to avoid scraping the anus too much. You can temporarily apply cortisone type cream to clear up itching. See a proctologist if you get no results.

Anal-ysisOfTheProblm: A back scratcher...No, wait, never mind that. There are steroid foams and suppositories that help the itching a lot. Sweating can be helped some with plain old ant-perspirant. No, please don't use the spray unless you're weird. Tucks (witch hazel) pads at night. Keeping that area meticulously clean is very important. Antibacterial ointment.Some use alum. Hit them with everything and see what works for you.
