Yes and no: There is a term radiculopathy that refers to pain in the leg from an irritation of a nerve in the back; you can get that condition and have pain in your inner thigh and leg. A sciatica technically is a radiculopathy also, but those nerves (L4,5, and S1) supply a different part if the leg. The inner thigh and leg are usually L1-4 nerve root levels.
