A member asked:

Is it true that ambian comes up as a benzo in a urine test?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bien for Ambien (zolpidem): With the usual urine test it will not and will not cross react with what drugs are usually tested(benzo-diazepines, opiates, barbiturates, cocaine, cannabinoids, or amphetamines). Plus, it's probably all out of your system in 24-48 hours. It can be found if an expensive blood test is used. If you're worried, then just tell them it has been prescribed for you and it shouldn't be a problem.
