Rare: Traumatic cerebral aneurysms are rare. A small study of 74 patients with nonpenetrating traumatic brain or cervical spine injury showed that 5% of patients had cerebral aneurysms (www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3317295/?report=classic). If you have new symptoms or neurological deficits, speak with your physician. http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/brainaneurysm.html
