Symptoms include...: Symptoms of acute bronchitis include cold symptoms, cough productive of sputum, fever, body aches, wheezing, decreased appetite, fatigue, etc. Not every symptom needs to be present. The symptoms of acute pneumonitis can be very similar although the cough and sputum production symptoms are typically not as severe unless bronchospasm is present.
