I wake up with a stuffy nose and my throat has been burning all day and i can feel the mucus what would be a good med to get for these symptons?

Cold: Dayquil/Nyquil, Mucinex (guaifenesin) and lots of fluids. Those things should help you to feel a bit better.

Use nasal: saline spray for your nose and cepacol lozenges for your throat. Monitor yourself and see if you develop additional symptoms or getting better. If not see your doctor.
