"Dirty" tongue?: There is no way to fix your body getting "dirty" "once and for all", which requires daily hygiene. The same goes for the tongue (and teeth). You may have any number of oral conditions that require treatment. See a dentist to see what's going on and discuss daily and preventive oral hygiene.

Forever ?: Probably not. Bacteria that stick to your tongue begin to adhere to the area immediately after you clean it. Proper oral hygiene should keep the problem to a minimum.

See dentist: I'm not sure what you mean by dirty, but if you have questions about your tongue, you should call your dentist to have an appointment so he can see your tongue, exam it, question you about your diet, what you eat, and then give you his suggestions about what you can expect.

Tongue : You try to keep yourself clean every day with a shower or bath-your tongue needs the same treatment -Think of your tongue as lots of little mushrooms where bacteria and food get trapped. If you brush it you brush the food and bacteria into it! If you scrape with a tongue scraper you will keep it clean daily and it is responsible for 90% of bad breath!
