I started what i thought was period on day it was due and have spotted since today is day 12 and today got 2 positive preg tests. what could this mean?

1st trimester bleed: The bleeding that occurred when your period was expected could be coming from a variety of reasons. It could be implantation bleeding, but could also be coming from your cervix due to infection, recent intercourse, increased blood flow etc. As long as you are not cramping as well this should be self limiting. Make an appointment with your doctor for further evaluation and early ultrasound.
