It depends: Vaginal discharge will change throughout the menstrual cycle and can be a normal sign of the hormonal changes of pregnancy. On the other hand, vaginal odor can be a sign of bacterial vaginosis. Vaginal itching can be a sign of a yeast infection. Sometimes vaginal discharge can be a sign of a sexual transmitted infection. It is a good idea to get checked out.

Ovulation: There is a more profuse cervical mucous at the time of ovulation but it is not usually described as creamy and is usually clear. The other possibility is a vaginal infection in which case you usually have itching, burning, or a foul odor. If you don't have any of these, wait 1 week and the ovulation type mucous will go away. If it doesn't, check with a doctor.
