I have a lump on my neck and my blood result say i have high basolphils, but all the other wbc seem normal. what could this be? is it bad?

Lump in neck: Depends how high,it can be just above normal or very high. Basophils elevated in allergic states, ,urticaria, chronic sinusitis, asthma,hypothyroidism, ulcerative colitis, RA, TB, and lymphomas, leukemias( usually atypical cells in the blood in leukemias). The lump can be related to all of the above or just another incidental finding. If the lump does not go away in a month , biopsy
