Reflux: Most babies spit breast milk or formula at times. Babies with symptomatic reflux will often arch their backs and cry because of pain. If the reflux is persistent it will irritate the swallowing tube and there may be a brownish material or blood contained in the vomitus. Sometimes babies with severe reflux do not grow well. If your baby has any of these problems please be seen for diagnosis/care.
