A 29-year-old male asked:
I seem to swallow a lot of air when speaking and eating--gas. is there a way i can correct this on my own or is it best to visit some type of doctor?

Couple things: These might not work but are simple. Eat you food completely (20 chews) and take a complete digestive enzyme with meals. If you are over weight then weight loss would be a significant consideration as it affects the angle of the esophageal-upper stomach connection and this can generate some symptoms too.
